Want to know more?

My professional training began in the creative trades in the early 1980s studying design techniques with Prof. F. R. Knubel. I was a participating artist at the Kaiserlautern International Stone Sculpture Symposium when I came across some experiential work. This changed my life completely. I became interested in experiential practices of all kinds and started my clinical career. Forty years later I am working artistically again. Am deeply grateful for this turn back

I’m an expert in my field but I wouldn’t be where I am without

Christiane Geiser (Switzerland), my former teacher, supervisor and mentor for Intermodal Focusing Plus FN/GFK

Uli Schlünder (Germany), Jules Zwimpfer (Switzerland), René Maas (Netherlands) and Lore Korbei (Austria) who taught me various styles of teaching Focusing

René Veugelers (Netherlands) who taughed my Dynamic Expressive Focusing

Prof. Mia Leijssen (Belgium) who's programm of Existenial Wellbeing Counseling shifted my psychotherapeutic framework towards the Existential Approach

Laury Rappaport Ph.D., LMFT, ATR-BC, REAT (US), my former teacher and supervisor for Focusing Oriented Expressive Arts Therapy FOAT®

William Winkfield (US), artist and photographer in Mérida/Mexico, who encouraged me to start with arts again

Gabriele Hasler (Germany), artist and art therapist, who pushed me to suscribe for an academic art therapy program

What art practices do I offer and practice for my own well-being?

Bilateral Body Mapping/Guided Drawing®: Releasing trauma and intense feelings of pain, anger and fear

Dream Illustration: Capturing inner pictures that cannot be expressed through words

Expressive Portraits: Healing through mirroring and the artistic expression itself

Experiential Collaging and Phototherapy: Finding meaning through image making

Embodied Doodling: Energizing the body and releasing stress

Contemplative Botanical Drawing and Hand Lettering: Calming down and easing the mind

Magic Book Journaling and Cosmic Smash Booking®: Setting up intentions and processing unclear emotions

Body based Abstract Painting: Enhancing intuition through the body sense
